Made at the potters wheel this bud vase made in a buff iron rich stoneware clay with Hakeme - brushed white slip, with a chun glaze applied.

Fired to 1260ºc
Approximately 8cm x 7.5cm

Ideal for a country kitchen, also complements contemporary and modern settings. This piece has a lot of beautiful details from the handmade process. The top of the vase has been double dipped in the glaze which encourages it to pool and create the white frosting and crackling effect. the iron in the clay creates flecks which as visible through the surface of the glaze adding to it's visual appearance.

The base of the vase has the fired clay exposed so you have a contrast in texture and invites you to hold it.

All items are dishwasher and food safe, however, washing by hand is the best option
